First, pin header and female header , also known as the row of pins, are the cheapest and most common connection methods. Application scenario: low-end and large-size intelligent equipment, development board, debugging board, etc.
Advantages: cheap and convenient, hard connection is very stable, strong over current capacity, convenient for wire welding and testing.
Disadvantages: large volume, difficult to bend, large spacing, it is difficult to connect hundreds of pins (too large).
Second, some high-end board to board insertion is more intensive than needle arrangement, and it is used a lot in compact products. Application scenario: conventional intelligent hardware products are basically in use and are widely used.
Advantages: large number of pins, small size, and 40 pins can be made in a length of 1 cm (less than 20 rows of the same size).
Disadvantages: the price is expensive, it can not be plugged in and out frequently, and the structural design needs to be fixed well.
Third, the thickened board to board connector, board to board and board to line, can be disassembled, combined and inserted on the row pin. Usage scenario: development board, test board, large and fixed equipment (such as computer chassis wiring).
Advantages: cheap, common, used with row pins, very easy to connect and measure.
Disadvantages: large volume, difficult to fix, not suitable for mass production scenario.
